Archived 2022 Version - For Reference Only as Information may be outdated. Use the online 2024 version above for current information.
The purpose of the Compendium is to highlight the hundreds of areas where actions have been taken at the state level to improve pipeline safety throughout the country and to showcase the many different areas of focus. While numerous efforts are underway already, states continue to look for reasonable ways to enhance pipeline safety in their regions. The consequences for not maintaining continuous improvement are simply too high.
Note: The NAPSR Compendium is a dynamic, changing document and intended for general reference only. If you have a need for the latest state regulations, please visit the state pipeline safety website for the most accurate and up to date state pipeline safety regulation information. Although efforts were made to double check information, regulations constantly change and the accuracy of this document is neither implied or guaranteed.
The 2024 Version of the Compendium has been completed. The Compendium has evolved into an online resource. You may use the link below to navigate to the Compendium website. The home page has buttons to navigate to the state regulations.
Instructions: From the home page, use the bottom "NAPSR Regulations" button, then the "State Regulations Summary" button (also at the bottom on the page, just above the bottom tray) to navigate to individual states. When you click on any given state, it will take you to their state regulations references. The site does not use back buttons, so just use the "NAPSR State Programs" button to navigate back to the home page.
